In my english class today, I just watched the Obama Girl Video. After I Watched it, I was like Damn, is this necessary? As a woman and young voter myself I'm thinking will this become a deciding factor as to who wins? If so why? and on a bigger scale, is this american politics and culture? This presidental election is potentially historical because me and most of america are frankly tired of george bush's last 8 years of oppression. So people want change and relief. This videos brings sexuality into the equation where it's not appropriate nor needed. I could see some positive in it where it is obviously marketed to my generation to at least make them aware BUT why this? This also brings up why would something like this have an impact as on youtube this is one of the most downloaded videos. Is this stereotypical? that the only way to get a young voters attention is to use a pretty girl? For my sake I would hope not there's no other way to see until we see who is our next president which i hope is not chosen because of videos like Obama girl.
